SMSMOVIES would like to inform all affiliates that all payout for April \'09 via bank wire have been completed. You should receive your commission within the next 5-7 days.

As you might be aware from our previous NEWS, SMSMOVIES had some issues with the banks rejecting our previous payouts however, since everything paid for March seems to have been successful, all affiliates should be up to date within some days.

Firstly I want to inform all affiliates that SMSMOVIES is NOT going out of business. For those affiliates that normally get paid by bank wire, about 30% have not received their payout. The reason for this is due to a technical issues, our bank has rejected the payout information that we send them for last month. It seems that when processing the payments, there were errors in the information and our security certificates with our bank seem to be \"Out of sync.\"

Having returned from being away on business, I can see that this problem has not been solved as of yet. We are in contact with our bank to arrange to put through all the missing payments manually . For all Affiliates that get paid by ePassporte, you will have received your money on time last month.

You will notice that the payouts for April \'09 have yet to be shown as processed on your stats. We need to regenerate the correct information for the missing payouts in March \'09. We are confident that all will be back as \"Business as usual\" once this issue has been resolved.

As you are will know, SMSMOVIES does not miss payments and are known for paying out on time. Now I am back, I will be over seeing to correct this problem as soon as possible.

Dear affiliates,

From today 16th February 2009, all payouts will be adjusted to the current exchange rate of the € as of February 2009. Why do we do this? Since SMSMOVIES has been online, we have paid out to all affiliates in Euros. Unfortunately the SMS’s that affiliates get paid for are coming from four different countries / currencies depending on which country your visitor is sending their SMS from.

We have the following currencies: Euro - Europe, NOK - Norway, GBP - United Kingdom and SEK - Sweden.

For this reason, all SMS’s except from countries with Euros have to be converted to Euro’s based on the exchange rate for the month we pay you. SMSMOVIES has taken the loss and paid out to you based on the higher exchange rates.


As of today, SMSMOVIES has adjusted the exchange rate for SEK / GBP to the Euro accordingly which will reflex in your next payout.

In easy terms, some companies adjust their payout exchange rate every month. Some companies, base the payouts on a lower average of the exchange rate however, SMSMOVIES has paid out on the higher exchange rate for many years now. In effect, SMSMOVIES has paid out the higher rate to our affiliates.

We want to be honest with you how we pay out and hope you can understand and appreciate that this is not something we want to do however, we need to conform to standard exchange rate practices as the banking world does as standard.

Some banners will have up to 10 different movies playing in the background every time the banner or page is refreshed - keeps the banners fresh and interesting.

All banners are GEO-Targeted so you can show your SMSMOVIE banner to all visitors coming from countries where we can offer our SMS billing solution. These are countries we know convert and make you $$$!

You can add an alternative URL inside our banner script which will be seen by all visitors to your site from any NON SMS country.

An example would be a visitor to your site from the USA. Adult SMS billing is not allowed in the USA so this visitor will not be able to use our service however, using our new GEO-IP banner, this visitor would not see your SMSMOVIE banner but another banner of your choice where they can purchase services using their credit card. This way your traffic works for you - Send your visitors to where YOU know you will make $$$!

We have been made aware of a problem submitting our Site smsmovies to search engines like Google and Yahoo. It seems that Google for example does not accept keyword "Teens" and Yahoo does not accept keyword "Fetish/bizarre".

We have reprogrammed our content so that:

1. If you login to your stats page at Smsmovies, click on the tab "Layout" and customise which niches you wish NOT to display on your page, for example "Teens" then "Teens" movies will NOT appear in the following areas on your Smsmovie page:

A. Top list (under single scenes menu).
B. 5 Random scenes.
C. New Movies.

This should help you get more traffic to your referral link and keep within your search engine guidelines.

Some webmasters asked me to explain about the Inbound and Outband rates listed under the :"Info" tab.

I have used country "Sweden" & operator "Tele2" as an example.

*** INBOUND means the first SMS which is sent from your customers mobile phone, you get paid €1.00

*** OUTBOUND means, once a customer has sent the first sms, we now know who he is. They can order more movies without sending any sms's simply by clicking on a new movie. As there was no sms sent via your customer to purchase the second movie, the rate that you now receive is €0.92 for each movie purchased in this way.

This makes it easier for your customer to purchase more movies without the inconvenience of sending another sms.

*** N/A means that a customer cannot purchase FULL MOVIES in this way. He must send an SMS for each full movie they wishes to view. You get the full rate per movie bought.
NOTE: Full movies are not available in all countries.

Some webmasters have been asking me how to link directly to a movie or catagory, here I explain how this is done. This is perfect if you specialise in certain movie types particular pornstars or you want to show your visitor to a particular category that fits in with your main site design.

Linking to a movie.

1. First visit smsmovies website and select a movie clip you wish to directly link to. For this example I have chosen one of the top 5 random movies on the right hand side of the website.

2. Click on this movie and you will be taken to the movie purchase page.

3. Place your mouse over the large rotating screenshots. You will see a long URL listed at the bottom of your browser. Now you can right mouse click and copy this link to notepad or similar text file program. Make sure your text file program is set to use plain text and NOT rich text. You should have a like that looks like this:

http://www.smsmovie.tv/mov.php?mov=788&ref=707&movie_shown=0&lang=12&site_id=6&ses_id=fnhi48rmg1sf4gov655c3b5lq3&cat=2&bait=1

4. Using the following link as a template: http://www.smsmovie.tv/mov.php?mov=*&ref=* :

A. Replace the "mov=*" with the the "mov=788" from the long link above where the number 788 is the unique number of this movie.
B. Replace the "ref=*" with your referral code.

5. Your final link should look like this: http://www.smsmovie.tv/mov.php?mov=788&ref=0000 <-- your unique referral code should be here. Copy and past this link into your browser to test that it is working how you wish.

6. Now you can add this URL to your website. Once clicked on, your visitor will go directly to that movie.

NOTE #1 : You may need to change the beginning of the Movie link "smsmovie.tv" to what is in the long link you have copied previously as at this point I do not know from which site you are coming from.

NOTE #2 : You can always place your mouse over the Movie you want, look at the bottom of your browser where you will see the full link to the movie and copy the 2 items information you need (Mov= and ref=) on paper instead of copy/paste the link into notepad. this is a quicker way once you get the hang of it.


Linking to a category.

This is simialr to the above example. You may want to link directly to category for example Babes or lesbians, mature etc. this is how it is done.

1. Visit smsmovies site and look at the categories listed under "Single Scenes"on the left hand side of the webpage.

2. Right mouse click on the category of your choice and choose "Copy link" then paste it into a blank Plain text text file. For this example, I have chosen Babes, you should have a link that looks like this: http://www.smsmovies.net/cat.php?cat=8&ref=11&movie_shown=0&lang=12&site_id=1&ses_id=kvqj7cra5jjm8p0ho2cvheoq97

3. Using the following link as a template: http://www.smsmovies.net/cat.php?cat=*&ref=*

A. Replace the "cat=*" with the the "cat=8" from the long link above where the number cat=8 is the category of Babes you have chosen.

B. Replace the "ref=*" with your referral code.

Due to problems with our SMS operators and SMS Gateway, certain countries were unable to send SMS's to our service over the weekend of the 9th-11th June '06. We have been assured the problem has been corrected. Even though the problem was reported, we must rely on the SMS operators to fix the problem and this can take time. If the operators cannot process SMS's sent from our sites, there is absolutely nothing we can do other than wait for the problem to be fixed.

What we do know is that all sms's sent from our affiliate links arrived to the operator and stopped there. Without the operators processing these sms's, we are not able to start the movie.

Your customers would not have been charged for failed sms's. This can and has happened on accessions where operators are upgrading their services, general maintenance or they have their own service problems.

This situation was totally out of our control and we apologise for any inconvenience.

The following will not effect 95% of our affiliates however, it is in all affiliates interest. Please read the following:

Due to the very few affiliates requesting payment by Cheque combined with the problems we have had with missing cheques lost in the post, Affiliate details filled on on our signup form incorrectly so the cheques are made our wrong and therefor cannot be cashed are 2 of many reasons why we have removed the cheque payment option.

As more and more affiliates prefer Bank wire or E-passporte, these will be our standard payment options.
